In this example we will show how to remove the last inserted item using the popitem() method in Python.

mydict = {
  'name': 'Steven',
  'age': 24,
  'ID': 123456
}

mydict.popitem()
print(mydict)

Output:

{'name': 'Steven', 'age': 24}
